I just wanted to mention a couple of new trends that are starting to make head-way in the wedding world...Trash the Dress and Boudoir Photography (a revealing style of photography).
Trash the Dress
The wedding is over and now you have a gown you'll likely never wear again hanging in your closet. Giving it to a local charity that supports low-income brides is a wonderful gesture, but if you've been dying to let off some of the steam that built up in the planning stages, consider a "Trash the Dress" photography session. Brides jump in a puddle of mud, let kids put their sticky little hands all over it, or rip it to shreds with their friends—this session is all about having fun. While it's not a necessary piece of wedding memorabilia, it could be one of your favorite keepsakes.
Boudoir Photography
Boudoir photography is a sexy new trend that's especially popular as a wedding day gift from a bride to her groom. Boudoir photos are usually taken wearing either just a little, or well, nothing at all. They're hardly X-rated though, but rather PG-13 -- as in classic pinup-inspired pics, or what the pros call 'implied nudes.' That means you're not wearing anything, but you're also not showing off anything either (think shot from the back, or lying on your stomach).
